Last Saturday, saw the closing event of our excellent exhibition by Tawan Wattuya at our Candlelight Studio in Patpong 2. The event was due to run from February 29th for one month but was postponed due to the Covid 19 virus.
The concept by Tawan was to highlight the ladies that work in the nightlife industry through his outstanding watercolour portraits for which he is well known.
The event which was aptly titled ‘How to Explain Pictures to the Portraits’ and featured performance in the Paradise go-go Bar featuring Tawan Wattuya and collaboration with columnist ภาณุ บุญพิพัฒนาพงศ์ Panu Boonpipattanapong.
The event featured Pavida Wachirapanyaporn, a contemporary dancer & artist alongside Panu Boonphiphatthanaphong, a freelance artist who is interested in working within various areas of art by using theatre-like concepts to convey striking live performances, combining the unique history of painting through the eyes of dancers and writers
The event was attended by many interest parties who also visiting the Patpong Museum for an experimental tour “ The Dark Side Of Patpong Museum”. which was hosted by our very own Apple Richards. The tour took in the sites and sounds of Patpong in total darkness aided by only torchlights.
